Aithyne is a former psuedonym that I still love and use as a handle on various websites. It is the bastardized version of aithinne, the Gaelic word for fire. I pronounce it aith·ih·nay, but someone who actually knows Gaelic would probably correct me.
I am Lynn, a transplant from Houston living in the beautiful state of Georgia. I moved here in the summer of 2006 to marry my husband, Joshua. We are the lucky parents of an amazing little boy named Noah. He is the light of my life, and between these two, I have everything my heart could ever need. We also have two rats, Pixel and 8-bit, as well as a feisty little leopard gecko named after Adrenaline Rush (mmm, SoBe).
I write about a lot of nothing, though my blog went from being unclassified to being pretty much a “mommy blog.” I do enjoy writing reviews and have for some time, so I decided that I would start adding them to my site. I hope that these reviews help you find new things to enjoy.
I am interested in attachment parenting (I co-sleep, babywear, cloth diaper and delay vaccines) but I have no issues with mainstream parenting whatsoever. What is good for the goose is not always good for the gander, right? I am a hardcore lactivist but I do not fall under the umbrella that has been dubbed “boob nazi.” As long as my parenting choices are respected, I will respect yours.
One day, I hope to be a photographer. In the meantime, I just spend every day enjoying my little family. For now, that is all I want to do.
Thank you for stopping by! Please feel free to shoot me an email any time.
